Local Westamerica Branch Supervisor Christy Costa presents grant to Habitat’s Volunteer Executive Director Beth Tomsick (eft).
Habitat for Humanity of Mariposa County has received a grant of $750 from Westamerica Bank. This donation will go toward site preparation for Habitat’s next partner family home. The affiliate will soon be purchasing land in the town area of Mariposa from the Catholic Diocese of Fresno.
Westamerica Bank has been a faithful financial supporter of Habitat over many years. In addition, Bank Manager, Christene Scott, has volunteered in the past to train Habitat partner families in financial matters. Educational classes such as these are part of a partner family’s “sweat equity,†as well as the time they spend working on the construction of their own homes. Thank you, Westamerica Bank
