Habitat for Humanity was recently blessed with a second $20,000 grant from the Larry L. Hillblom Foundation. The first Hillblom grant in 2013 went toward the infrastructure of Habitat’s second partner family home, located on Mueller Court in the town of Mariposa. This year’s grant will go toward the purchase of property on Stroming Road. Our affiliate is very grateful to this generous foundation.
Both of the grants were made in honor of a very special lady, Marilyn Corral, a past Habitat board member and chair of the Family Selection Committee. Marilyn knows what a difference a Habitat home has made in the lives of our families, especially the children.
One of the first employees of DHL Worldwide Express, founded by Larry L. Hillblom, she worked there for 25 years. The Foundation does charitable work, especially in the medical field. Habitat sincerely thanks them and Marilyn Corral for this wonderful gift!
